#asktheexpert mere baby ko 2_3 dino de bukhar hai uska temperature abhi 99.3 hai hum use paracetamol de rahe hai or sardi bhi hai too use levocet syrup de kya?

A. the first medicine will always be paracetamol and it is given according to weight and power of paracetamol medicine you are having. give liquids and easily digestible food and paracetamol should be given only after food. keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes when the child is havingd fever armpit temperature of hundred or more is considered as fever to body sponge to decrease the surface temperature and should be carried out for at least 20 minutes with normal temperatured water. higher medicines (ibugesic / meftal-p) whether required or not will be told by the doctor.

A. hi please don't try such self medication it can be dangerous please keep your child well hydrated rub onion slices on chest,back and sole of your child which help to cure such infection
