A. It is normal for a 4-month-old baby to drool a lot. At this age, babies start producing more saliva as their salivary glands develop, and they haven't fully learned how to swallow it yet. It can also be an early sign of teething, even if teeth don’t appear right away. Drooling at this stage is usually harmless. Just keep the baby’s mouth and chin dry to avoid rashes and change bibs frequently. If the baby is feeding well and otherwise active, there’s no need to worry.
