A. hi usually babies Gain 250 to 500 g per month so at first ensure that your child weighs normal or not. for Healthy weight gain, please offer plenty of feeds. feed your child on each breast at least 20 minutes so he or she can get full fat hindmilk well which help to increase your child weight. give massage to your child daily

A. Exclusive breastfeeding is advisable till the time the baby completes 6 months of age. If the baby is being exclusively breastfed and is passing urine for atleast 6-8 times in a day, then the baby is getting sufficient milk. Make sure that when a baby is feeding, he empties one breast first before moving on to the next breast as the milk that comes towards the end is hind milk, which is rich in fat and helps in healthy weight gain. When you are feeding formula milk from a bottle, always feed the baby in an upright position. Burp the baby during and after each feed.
