Q.

#AskTheExpert #Mamypoko my wife breastfeeds our 1.5 month old baby. But he is not getting enough milk. So we have to feed formula milk. We tried medicines for increasing the feed but it didn't work as expected. We have concerns regarding formula feed. Please advise

A. That's ok each mom is different. If breastfed is insufficient then you can opt for formula no issues. Just follw the Instructions over the pack as quantity and times so your baby get enough nutrients. Also Try to include these foods regularly almost every day. Cooked garlic can help. Have spinach, jeera water, fennel, fenugreek, mothers horlicks is good for lactation. You can have bread with milk, rice with milk, dry fish, carrot, oats, almonds, and other nuts, the more you allow your baby to suck the more milk you can provide
