#AskTheExpert#MamyPoko My son 18 is months old. His Haemoglobin level was 6.6 along with high platelets and w.b.c count. Urine and stool test were normal. He was advised tonoferon syrup and after 21 days his haemoglobin increased to 8.8 but the platelets and w.b.c count is still high. plz advise.

A. this appears to be a sort of infection or bone marrow suppression so better to consult your doctor as this can also be the earliest sign of a bone marrow disease
