Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. if your child is having constipation you will have to give plenty of water and fibre diet and you'll have to go for dietary modification and remove the diet which is causing constipation in the child
Your child is having constipation for which kindly give plenty of water to drink and fibre diet made from cereals pulses vegetables and fruits. Specially give papaya banana oats fennel seeds water it will help in decreasing constipation and even after that the problem continues kindly meet your doctor for constipation medicine. it is important for you to know that the problem of constipation will improve with increasing age of the child. You may increase or decrease the dosage of constipation medicine if needed according to the consistency of the stool

That's sign of constipation. Use Glycerine suppository in case of severe constipation ( very hard stool). Give more fiber rich food like oats mashed potatoes mashed banana apple puree etc and give fluid like water coconut water etc.
If you are breastfeeding then you should have hing Azwain in the morning.
