#AskTheExpert #Mamypoko my baby is not latching properly it's being a month now should I continue giving him formula or should I start cow milk? and if formula then which one

A. very important to see that position and attachment while breastfeeding the child is proper. if improper the child will continue to suck for long hrs without getting any milk meet lactationaal counsellor who will guide regarding this. see videos on you tube for breastfeeding position and attachment. take plenty of water, home made diet, seasonal fruits and vegetables, milk for increasing breast milk for yourself. take 15 to 30 days weight and growth assessment by the doctor.

A. you can start with cow milk after completion of one year.. babies will take time to latch and suck milk.. try to comfort the baby as rub the head back as you feed the baby. exclusively breast feeding recommended for six months, if mother milk not sufficient then formula milk..
