#AskTheExpert #Mamypoko my baby is 3 months old n on bf he passes bowel after 4/5 days if not we use stimulants what would be the reason he is not passing stool every day n what’s the treatment for him?

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children2 years agoA. no problem hujlm Babies below 6 months may not be passing stool regularly a constipation of 8 to 10 days is absolutely normal in them there is no need of any medicines

but it is not necessary for young babies to pass stool on daily basis.
it is normal for them to not pass stool upto 7 days and 10 times in a day.
so no worries
just feed your child on demand
give massage on daily basis which helps to regularise bowlmovements
