#AskTheExpert #Mamypoko hello. Yesterday while. Playing my 16 month baby lost balance and tripped on the floor. Since then he is refusing to walk. I can see some swelling on the upper part of the foot. He can stand and bear the weight, he can crawl, sit in a position where his foot will be bent. But he is refusing to walk. What should I do?

A. if the baby is avoiding to work then definitely there is pain and you need to consult an author doctor to see if there is any sprain or if it is just a swelling

A. hi as there is swelling ,try cool pack on it . it will help to reduce the swelling as well as the pain. and if the condition remains same after this then you should consult your pediatrician.

Q. Hello. My baby is 15 months. Yesterday while playing he lost banace and tripped his foot and fell. Since then he is refusing to walk.. Today I noticed some swelling in the upper part of the foot.
