Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl4 years agoA. Sneezing and cough may be due ti any seasonal variation or may be any viral infection . Steam can be given 3 times and if fever then paracetamol can be given up to 3 times . For cough asthkind LS can be given .

Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest. As a part of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs trgfreatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .
