#AskTheExpert maam, shreehan karmakar age 2years 2 months is suffering from cough and sneezing for consecutive 5 days.. 1st 2 days he was having fever but now no more.. he has given medications of maxtra 3.5 ml thrice daily for 5 days after that doctor suggested ambrodil s thrice daily 5 days, azithral xl once daily 5 days and maxtra 3.5 ml at night.. is it ok.. bcz the medications is given but there is no improvement

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cough and Cold should be treated only after a proper examination by a doctor as there may be some associated factor . As the first line of treatment yuuou can give steam inhalation which would be helpful . Cough Syp should be given only after a proper evaltuation .
