#AskTheExpert Ma'am my son is suffering from fever and stomach pain since 31st March and has constipation. We took advice from a doctor and are giving him Gastica, calpol250 and zifi 100 but still fever comes after 5 hours of giving medicines. what to do now? fever comes around 101 and more

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 6 yr old girl4 years agoA. as baby is now 4 years and 11 months old and is suffering from fever despite giving fever medicine the fever is coming again and again since last 5 days better to admit your baby in a hospital and also consult your pediatrician and get from test done to know the source of infection

SandhyaMom of a 8 yr 11 m old girl4 years agoA. Hi, it’s been seven days since Baby has got fever. It is better to consult your paediatrician and get the baby examined and start with antibiotics. If it is a normal fever then it would have been cured with a basic paracetamol in three days. So it is better to go for the blood test and start with a medicine as suggested by your paediatrician. Meanwhile keep your baby well hydrated give adequate liquid. Give soft food like Idli, Upma. Maintain hygiene.Write Your Answer Here
