#AskTheExpert last night @ 1am suddenly my son got fever 101.2 I had given him paracetamol syrup,but from 4 am he is doing loose motions also by 9am he temperature was 102 wat I need to do

Dr Raksha guptaMom of a 9 yr 8 m old boy3 years agoA. These kind of fever are usually Viral in nature . You must give paracetamol containing medicine to baby at 6 hourly for 1 day, if fever does come down to base line you must add meftal p syrup for that spike.you can do tepid sponging with Luke warm water.
