#asktheexpert Krishiv is 6 month old and still he is doing liquid poop ,so is it ok or I need to go to the doctor

A. Hello, your baby boy is 5 months old and he use to poop liquid so don’t worry if the stool is yellow and doesn’t have bad smelling then it’s okay

A. Loose motion most of the time is because of some infection which could be viral or bacterial and in such case it is associated with symptoms like fever along with vomiting and loss of appetite . supportive treatment is very necessary where proper hydration should be maintained by giving ORS along with that probiotic can be given like enterogermina or econorm in a proper dose . Antibiotics hhhas their role only if it is bacterial infection . for this doctor guidance is necessary .
