#AskTheExpert Is this a fungal infection? Anything to worry about COVID tongue?

A. okay..it is fungal infection kindly visit your pediatrician for once clean your child tounge or mouth with soft clean Cotton clothe. for that ,take a clean Cotton clothe,damp it in warm water,wring out excess water from it and wrap that clothe on your Pointer finger and gently rub it on your child mouth or toungue but please avoid self medication. don't use any medicine without consulting your pediatrician. it can be harmful

A. White layer in the mouth like patches.. We applied Candid mouth paint and it reduced slightly. Baby is in Direct Breast feed and bottle feeding.

A. hi sorry but I can't find any attachment but any type of fungal infection has no connection with covid . so don't take much stress for this. kindly visit your doctor. must follow his or her advice
