#asktheexpert Is there any sterile cotton which is put on the open wound area

A. No there would be no such thing but if it is a wound then just apply an ointment you are suggested to leave it open do not cover it so leaving it open is going to be a much better option for you to do and if you want to use cotton there is no such thing as such
