A. dear Mum, it is better to practice giving finger foods to your baby so that baby learn to explore food and feed by themselves. avoid foods that can choke like grapes, nuts and raw carrot pieces. give pieces of soft fruits like banana, chickoo, foods like idli, dhokla (fermented foods are healthy) , besan chila.

A. See when you give finger foods to the child they learn to hold onto a food and try to have a better coordination between mouth and hand so that is good all in all if you want to do it there is no compulsion that you have to do it so if you do it it’s okay if you don’t do it then also it is okay
