#asktheexpert is it okay to use Colgate kids toothpaste which mentions for 2-3 yrs old, for 22.5 months old toddlers? it contains flouride so I am confused.

A. Yes it is fine as your child is almost 2 years old. Bit the nost important thing is to use only a grain size of toothpaste till the age of 3 years and a pea size after the age of 3 years

A. Hello Dear parent, no should not give toothpaste that has flouride in it. Since it is not recommended for kids under age 5. This is so because kids tend to swallow the toothpaste and flouride toothe paste is not good to swallow
