#AskTheExpert Is it ok to keep baby on AC?? I am from West Bengal, Bardhaman..temperature is 35 degrees right now and humidity near about 50%. Baby age is 3months.

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 9 m old boy2 years agoA. Yes it is safe, provided you take a few precautions. Most doctors agree that it is safer to use a cooler or an air conditioner (AC) with a newborn than to let him stay in a hot, airless and humid environment. Babies, particularly newborns, can't adjust their body temperature as well as adults.
