yes it is ok .
but better to avoid as it can lead to cavities .
just offer water.
ensure that your child takes his or her dinner well.
offer heavy food like sheera, rab etc at night time meal which will help to decrease the night time waking frequency.
ensure that your child feel comfortable while sleeping
maintain good hygiene
