#AskTheExpert is breastfeeding and formula feeding both at a time safe? What quantity of formula should we give?

A. Hi Yes both can be given incase if you feel mother's milk is not adequate You can start with 1 scoop but then check if baby takes more than make one more scoop This is trial & error. you will learn as you feed the baby.

A. Hello mom When mother’s milk is not sufficient for baby than the best alternative of mother’s milk is formula milk. So yes you can continue with both mothers milk and formula milk. Quantity of milk can be calculated according to babies weight. Your baby weight is five kgs then you should give 75 to 90 ML at a time and repeat the feeding and every two hours
