#asktheexpert If the lactating mother eats foods that are acidic and sugary in nature; then does it create reflux, gas and colic issues in child through the breastmilk??? Which food should be avoided by the mother, if the child has reflux issues??

A. Hello! Your food intake might not be directly affecting your child’s health, but certain medication’s and the reactions of it will definitely affect. So it is always advisable to avoid any disruption in the general health while you exclusively breastfeed your baby. So you need to take care of the diet very well.
