Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. It is very normal for small children that sometimes they will not pass stool for 10 days also and sometimes they will pass stool more than 7 to 8 times per day.
If the consistency of the stool is Semi solid to semi liquid do not worry about the frequency of the stool.
No medicines needs to be given in such a case but you have to meet the doctor only if the stool consistency is hard.
It is advisable to give only milk to the child and nothing else before completion of 6 months of age.
intermittent cryinxg of the child is due to colic pain and not due to constipation.

NikithaMom of 2 children1 Year agoA. hello the breastfeed baby will have less waste and can go without passing motion even for a week and absolutely nothing to worry about and if the baby is not passing motion even after 7 days then you may check with your doctor and he will be able to advise you accordingly
