A. Dear mum, reduction of belly fat requires overall fat and weight loss. Eat mindfully and avoid processed and packaged foods. Have variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables. Have lean proteins like eggs, beans, pulses, low fat milk and milk products. Have healthy fats from almonds, flaxseed. Have small frequent meals and adequate fluid intake. Exercise for 45 to 60 minutes every day and have an active lifestyle. Exercises like abdominal crunches, pelvic tilts help in toning the stomach muscles.
