#asktheexpert i was undergone c section on 20 th dec 2019.....my first period started for 45 days.....again second period came for 15 days....facing irregular periods...my doctor prescribed cerezette tab for 28 days...is it safe to use the medcine for long time

A. hi irregularity in menses is common during the breastfeeding period some women might not get their period and this is lactational amenorrhea once you stop breastfeeding the periods will regularise

A. hi Mom. after delivery irregular periods are quite common especially when you are on exclusive breastfeeding. do not worry mum just follow a proper diet and definitely if a doctor has prescribed medicine you can take it. but I feel you can wait for few months to check for the routine then still if you have too much of irregular periods then you can consult gynecologist
