Q.

#AskTheExpert I want to Consult about my 2.9 year old daughter, she has constipation since she was few days old. we consulted with doctor and many test were done including some Iga. All reports were normal. As of now we are giving her PegClear. whenever we stop medicine, her constipation increase again.

A. but sir we give everything in food.. she don't take junk food she takes only homes food .. like cucumber.. chapati.. butter... daal nd all veggies she takes.. still she has constipation.. so what could b reason behind this

A. yes can be given but. constipation or hard stools is common in babies . Change diet habits . Avoid junk food . Give fibre rich diet like green leafy vegetables, palak , cauliflower etc . And fruits like papaya apple etc . Give plenty of water and other fluids also . Can give laxatives post 2 years age only under a pediatrician guidance .
