#asktheexpert I suffer from hyperthyroidism. My maternal grandmother had it too. Does it imply that it is a hereditary condition? I have 2 kids. Please let me know if there are any precautions that I should take for them from an early age to prevent any such conditions in future.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. it needit be s.Child specialist should see the baby . May be it is some underline problem that baby having the symptoms . Some routine test can be done precaution basis of required . No self treatment should be given to baby .
