#AskTheExpert I'm suffering from cracked nipples from past one month. it is very painful while feeding. Dr suggested me ointments. but still it's not cured. I wanted to buy a nipple sheild. how to choose the size of nipple sheild ? does it come in free size ?

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. You have to check it’s size as it might vary abd start applying hip care or nip butter cream and while feeding entire nipple and most of the aerola should be in mouth of the baby and never detach baby forcefully from breast

Can by nipple shield if you want it is completely safe but I would just like to tell you here you use Boroline anti septic cream regularly onto your nipples and then cover it with cabbage leave okay and leave it that way and when you have to feed the child to go ahead with feeding the child after cleaning your breath and then you repeat the same process
