#AskTheExpert I'm 34 weeks pregnant . my baby is having cord around the neck . Is there any chance of recovery ?

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 7 m old boy4 years agoA. An umbilical cord that is wrapped around a baby's neck in utero is called a nuchal cord, and usually is harmless. An umbilical cord is a lifeline for a baby in the womb. Running from the baby's abdomen to the placenta, the umbilical cord usually contains three blood vessels and is about 21” long.
