A. It is normal for a 6-month-old baby to poop multiple times a day after starting solids, as their digestive system is still adjusting to new foods. Small, soft stools indicate that the body is processing the food. However, if the stool becomes very watery, has mucus, or if your baby seems uncomfortable, it could be a sign of mild indigestion. Ensure you introduce one new food at a time and watch for any reactions. Keep the baby well-hydrated with breast milk or formula. If loose motions persist for more than a few days or the baby seems unwell, consult a pediatrician.
