#AskTheExpert I have severe food poisoning, can I give Top feed instead of breast feed, as I don't have energy, my baby is 2 months old.

ExpertDr.Deepinder Kaur DhawanObstetrician and Gynaecologist3 years agoA. give only breastmilk till completion of Six month as breastmilk contains lots of antibodies that build child immunity and protects from all viral infection and top feed can affect child health

Yup Sure you can and I think it would be a better choice only because you never know the medicines that you are taking I’m going to affect the child or not so till the time you want to kill formula feed but if you do not breast feed in the meanwhile in a body will stop making feeling so you have to balance it somehow
