Q.

#asktheexpert I have gradually stopped breast feeding my baby(23months) old. First started with stopping day feeding, now have stopped nights also. So can I take any painkillers for the discomfort? Like dolopar! Will there be any other medication required to prevent mastitis?

A. Hello my dear parent! If you have totally stopped breastfeeding and your child is taking some other milk, then there shouldn’t be any problem provided you are taking the medication only as per your doctor’s advice. Get in touch with your doctor for further assistance
