Q.

#asktheexpert I have a quick question regarding my 5 months old baby. As he is nearing the teething stage. I wanted to ask if there is any need to give him medication for his teeth

A. Avoid giving him/her a plastic teether, instead try giving her a carrot (the middle hard part). They won't be able to chew or suck it. You can give them homeopathic medicine: calcerea phosphorica 6x which is available online. It helps with teething. I started giving it to my daughter from the 5th month and still give it to her.
