Q.

#asktheexpert I have a four month baby and I am a lactating mother. my baby is entirely on breastfeeding. But I feel very hungry after every breast feed . and I feel I am eating alot. what all should I keep part of my diet which has lesser calories yet suffice my hunger pangs as well

A. Hello there, ma’am, please do not worry about it too much. Please eat iron and calcium and protein rich food items. Also eat only home cooked food and avoid oily food items. Please take eggs and chicken and chicken soup. Take lots of green vegetables and dairy products and soaked almonds on daily basis. Thanks and take care
