#asktheexpert I have a 3 weeks old baby. she has gas. whenever am feeding she gets irritated and crying. normal pee and poop count. feeding her through bottle but mother's milk.

A. Colic in babies is a very common issue and it's matter of concern for parents as the baby is extremely irritable and inconsolable by most of the means. Exclusive breastfeeding with a proper bupring and keeping the baby in an upright position will be helpful. Antiflatulence medicine like semithicone , probiotics and enzyme preparations may be helpful. Maternal lifestyle and dietary habbits are also contributory ggtand important.
