Q.

#asktheexpert I have 8 months old baby boy. He spits curdled milk a lot. Also, after having solids he doesn’t eat anything for 4-5 hours, even refuse milk also. Does solids stay for so long in baby’s stomch? And at what interval should we feed baby? I am little concerned. He is not teething. Please suggest.

A. Hello ma’am If your child is not asking for 4 to 5 hours then it is fine because normally it is said that you should feed your child every 2 to 3 hours because initially your child’s appetite is so low that it is fine if you feed every 2 to 3 hours but if your child is not asking it for 4 to 5 hours , because maybe the food that you are giving to the child is quite heavy so don’t worry about it.. Also it’s okay if your child has not started to teach your child will have teeth probably after the age of 10 months or one year
