Q.

#AskTheExpert I have 2 twins of day 13 of life.they were born at 36 wks 2 days of gestation.initially since breastmilk was not produced they have given prenan 20 ml 2 hrly.Now as breastmilk has been started stopped giving prenan 2hrly.but 2 -3 feeds were given in a day.now as they completed 38 wks can I change prenan to nan pro? And what all things to be taken care to increase breastmilk as it is sufficient for only one child

A. hi dear Various factors can cause a low milk supply during breast-feeding, such as waiting too long to start breast-feeding, not breast-feeding often enough, supplementing breastfeeding, an ineffective latch and use of certain medications. Sometimes previous breast surgery affects milk production.
