#asktheexpert I had a normal delivery of 1st of February this year. My period started from last month i.e on 1st july but the period didn't start this month. There was no intercourse between the starting of period i. e. last month till today. Is it normal or do I have to go see a doctor personally.

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. almost always in breastfeeding there is irregular cycle. see more you can ask your own treating doctor. i am sure they will solve all your doubts and guide youyou have to do a few more tests and a scan after a local doctor advice for proper treatment

Since You are sure it cannot be pregnancy so you wait for a week to 10 days still if you do not get your period then you can get it checked with your gynaecologist certain times of periods can be delayed due to body hormonal changes and that’s normal so wait for 10 days otherwise consult your
