#asktheexpert I gave calcilrol vitamin D half sachet weekly once about 12 weeks to my toddler. Later i got to know you were supposed to give only for 4 weeks. Will there be vitamin D toxicity?

Maam what you supposed to give half only or full that also is not clear yes it is true that you’re supposed to give it for four weeks but if you have given for 12 weeks it’s not going to create a problem because I will tell you vitamin D supplements are meant to be given as per your doctors recommendation I have given it for eight weeks to my child as my doctor recommended so that is not a problem still if you have a doubt you can always discuss the issue with your doctor
