Stuti NaikMom of 2 children3 years agoA. No the stored milk has no issues whatsoever if you give it within the timeframe. It is as good as direct feeding except the comfort baby gets from suckin on to mother's breast but if you are working then it's best alternative as anyone can feed the baby and it is definitely better than formula. Even celebrities do the same, they pump and store milk for their babies while they go to work.
Stuti NaikMom of 2 children3 years agoA. Also, must remember to add dates on the bags when you pumped so that you can know how old they are, in case you decide to freeze them. :) Lay them flat it helps them with freezing easily. Once you thaw a bag to use, do not store it again.

You can store expressed milk in the bottle itself for upto 4 hours, for refrigerator you can use breastmilk storage pouches easily available on Amazon, Flipkart etc. If you are putting it in normal fridge then warm it by keeping the packet in warm water (not boiling water), same for frozen breastmilk.

In the refrigerator for up to 4 days. In the freezer for about 6 months is best; up to 12 months is acceptable.
