Q.

#AskTheExpert I am Nilanjana, please some semi solid foods that I can introduce to my baby of 6 months. Kindly also mention the quantity to start with and the way to increase them gradually.

A. hi parent start with soups of tomato, moong, dal water, drumsticks, carrot etc meshed vegetables after properly cooked can be given meshed seasonal fruits can be given using Babyhug nibbler use simply purified water having tds higher than 350 after meal and that using the seeper. two meals and two breakfasts are good take care

A. You can start with Apple, chikoo,papaya & banana purée has it is sweeten in taste. Then u can give carrot,betroot, spinach. And then ragi, moong dal, rice water suiji ka kheer. Start with 2 to 3 tsp n 1 meal in a day. U can feed ur baby if he’s demanding more like 1 or 2 extra spoons if he’s healthy. U can start 2 times meal in a day the next day. N gradually increase.
