#asktheexpert i am mother of a 13 month old baby. i still breastfeed my baby 3 to 4 times s day. is it safe for me to take covid 19 vaccine.

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. there is no problem in taking the covid-19 vaccine at present and still continue to breastfeed the baby is there is official announcement regarding safety of the vaccine in lactating mother

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 6 m old boy4 years agoA. The NITI Aayog Member (Health) has stressed that there is no problem in breastfeeding after vaccination and it must not be halted "even for an hour". Healthcare experts have also said that a woman can get vaccinated against COVID-19 anytime after the delivery of her baby.
