Since u had c section after six months, consult with your doctor once and if the doctor confirms the internal stitches should have healed then you can start exercising. Regarding maternity belt, I started wearing maternity belt from the seventh day after my c section. And continued it for five months. Have a word with your doctor before starting to use it as every woman's body is different. While choosing for a belt you should look for these things - whether it has back support, easy to put and remove, does it have the grip to hold your tummy, will it secure your stitches.
