#AskTheExpert I am getting odourless period( kind of gel outflow) after using Clingen forte capsule(after a consultation with a gynaecologist). no pain nothing.I was adviced to use 3 capsule for 3days but after second day insertion itself my problem (vaginal fungal infection and itching and burning sensation) seemed to be resolved but I am having this gel substance which is odourless coming at times. Is this normal ?

I meant my period blood flow after this insertion of Clingen forte is not smelling bad ( as I usually have a bad tolerable smell during my periods). is that an issue that period flow without smelly blood ??

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 9 yr 1 m old boy5 years agoA. Yes it is normal but consult your gynecologist once, as you probably already know, there's more to your menstrual fluid than just blood. You also expel bacteria, vaginal mucus, fluid, and tissue during your period, and that's why your period blood doesn't smell exactly like the blood that comes out of any other part of your body.
