#asktheexpert I am a parent of 1.6 year baby boy who was very very weak no growth for last 6 month I take too much precautions of multivitamins & calcium advice by several doctors but no improvement so much balanced diet i give my baby but still no improvement plaese sujjest me any syrup medicine any thing else please help us I am so disappointed write now

A. the multivitamins and other medications act only till the time you are giving so its better not to be dependent on that and encourager baby just to have proper nutritional diet and include maximum things you can include in the diet You just need to give your baby proper nutritious diet which includes more of green leafy vegetables sprouted grains and cereals and fruits along with proper liquid intake which will help your baby develop soon but don't be very specific on food intake and let the baby take all the nutrients from different sources of food

A. As long as they're meeting developmental milestones, are alert and active, and are feeding well, you likely don't need to worry. Consistent growth — not exponential growth — is the key to baby's well-being
