#asktheexpert I am a mother of 2.8 yrs old daughter. My daughter sometimes poops 4-5 times a day which is quite solid and looks fine. Is it a thing to worry about ??

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. if the consistency of the stool is normal that is semi solid to solid there is no need to worry about the frequency of the stool.
the frequency can vary for 4 to 5 times per day and sometimes the child will not pass stool for few days also.
also do no worry about colour and smell of the stool when stool consistency is semisolid to solid.
you have to meet thex dr only if it is totally watery stool or it is hard stool or the child is having pain while passing the stool.

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 8 m old boy1 Year agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. But it is really very difficult to say anything without proper examination of the baby. It is advisable to get the baby evaluated by a doctor and follow doctors advise properly. You can also book online doctor’s appointment on FirstCry where the doctor can help you and guide you properly
