#AskTheExpert i am a mom of 5 mnths old babay.my baby is not clearly recognising me,she laughs when i make her laugh .but ahe ia not recognising me and ahe was not getting calm when ahe was coming to me from ithwr peraon.i dont feel ahe was recognising me.is thwre any prblm with her.rest all was fine .

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. you can't expect the baby to suddenly get calm when the baby comes from someone else like they show in movies. it will take some time for the baby to come down on the whole. if you are still concerned then try spending more time with the child and bond by using books or by talking or by playing peek a boo excetra
