Q.

#AskTheExpert I am a feeding mother of a 4-month-old baby. Recently I noticed eczema on my left breast. I have been going through this condition for years. But I'm worried that it will cause my baby an illness. Please give me some advice. Is it ok to breastfeed while having eczema??

A. Breastfeeding With a Skin Condition A rash ,eczema or any other type of skin irritation on your breast, areola, or nipple can make it painful to nurse to your child. However, you don't have to stop breastfeeding.
