#AskTheExpert I am 6 months pregnant. I have had a cough for a few weeks now. I have taken medicines, steam and cough syrup as advised by the doctor but it's still not gone completely. will coughing often affect my baby in any way?

A. hi yes it can so please inform your treating doctor for once keep your self well hydrated drink turmeric milk once in a day chew very tiny piece of ginger with pinch of salt and few drops of lemon juice
