Q.

#AskTheExpert I am 5 months pregnant and had an abortion last year .... yesterday my dr told me that I am having cervical infection and may need to put stitches next week...is the infection harmful for my baby?

A. If the infection is left untreated then yes it can affect a pregnancy and they can be chance of premature rupture of membranes which might lead to a preterm deliveryWrite Your Answer Here

A. I am having 3.1 cervical length and given tab clingen forte for 7 days for treating the infection
